Performance analysis for soft tennis
This App consists of 3 scales and estimate a part of
1. Perceptual-motor skills
2. Factors of performance collapse
3. Factors of performance improvement
for competitions of soft tennis.
1. Perceptual-motor skills
The perceptual skills for responding appropriately to the opponents ball are estimated. For example, it is considered that on the opponents service scene, players who acquire this skill can predict and judge the course of the ball accurately, then return the ball in proper timing.
It can be said that in racket sports, these perceptual-motor skills are important ability which greatly depend on winning or losing as well as skills for handling the racket.
Also, it is considered that perceptual-motor skills can be enhanced by training. As a starting point, please check your level of skills at the present time.
2,3. Factors of performance collapse and improvement
From results shown by radar chart, you can predict the trigger that your performance will decline or improve in the game scene.
In the scale for performance collapse, it is considered that the higher the score, the more you have changes which may cause performance degradation, in your psychological and behavioral aspects.
In the scale for performance improvement, it is considered that the higher the score, the more you have changes which may cause performance improvement, in your psychological and behavioral aspects.
Notes
>This scale was created for soft tennis competitions. Therefore, reliability of measurement results is not guaranteed for athletes other than racket sports.
>This scale is the simple one which estimate each aspect of perceptual-motor skills from 3 question items and a part of factors for performance collapse and improvement from 3 or 4 question items. So, it is not proper to overestimate the result. Please handle the result as one document which shows such tendency.
>A third party can not use the result without permission of who operate this scale.
